Happy New Year from everyone at Legacy Automotive. We have said this every January since 2013, and it never stops being true: the only reason this shop exists is because the people of Boulder keep bringing their cars to us. Thank you.
A short year-end thank you
This past year we serviced thousands of vehicles, completed hundreds of major repairs, hosted the spring open house, supported three local non-profits, and welcomed two new technicians to the team. None of it happens without the trust of the customers who choose an independent shop over a chain or a dealer.
What is ahead at the shop
A few things on the calendar for the year ahead:
- Expanded EV maintenance bay. More EVs in Boulder every month. We are adding lift capacity and high-voltage tooling to handle them well.
- 4x4 outfitting upgrades. New alignment rack capacity for lifted trucks. Faster turnaround on builds.
- Continuing education. Every tech in the shop is in training on something this year. Hybrid systems, advanced driver assistance, modern diesel emissions.
- Family of shops. Boulder Diesel continues to grow. We are exploring a third location, slowly, only if it is the right fit. No rush.
Driving in Boulder, the year ahead
Front Range traffic is not getting lighter. The road work on US-36 and the Diagonal continues. Construction adds debris, potholes multiply in spring, and aggressive merges chew up suspensions. The best gift you can give your car this year is to slow down and leave a little more space.
One ask
If you have had good experiences here, the kindest thing you can do for us is tell a neighbor. Every new customer at Legacy comes from a customer who already trusts us. We do not advertise much. We have not needed to. Word of mouth has built this shop for over a decade.
